A new 2016

I will start by saying that 2016 and 2017 will not be very productive years, business wise, as far as I know yet. The boyfriend proposed to me back in November, so we're officially engaged <3 and wedding is tentatively October 2017. So, there are lots and lots of things to plan, do and make. Biggest project being the wedding dress. I'm designing and my mother is helping me make it 
. (She promised me in 1st grade that she'd make my prom and wedding dress. So here we are). I'm hoping I can at least do some sketch studies in the mean time to keep my skills sharp, because I'm noticing that they're definitely lacking as of late. The only products that'll be new will most likely be a result of making something for the wedding and going "hey...I got an idea" (saying that with more of a redneck voice makes it more amusing XD).
Also, business aside, a few other things to note. Next week monday is FINALLY my golden birthday. Super excited. I even have the next day off so I can go get a few birthday shots (I have -yet- to do the whole free birthday shot thing that we do in our area....but now this year I will, and then I don't have to anymore lol).
My coworkers and I are also doing a fitness challenge that involves $$$$ so that is plenty of motivation to get my butt going. I've gained 30 lbs since I was my lightest in 2013 and that's gotta change D:< We're all going to be super sexy for the summer, and that makes me incredibly excited. I want to be fit and healthy by the time the wedding comes, and so I can make cosplays I've wanted to for a long time but never had the self confidence for (since I -hate- my body. Ick).

Procrastinator, loving, dedicated

I'm a righty!
5.) What was your first deviation?
Of my dog....of course it was XD
6.) What is your favourite type of art to create?
Fabric stuff and chainmaille. 2-D wise, though, I like to create using traditional mediums (like pencil mostly. I have a tendency to screw up more in pen)
7.) If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Digital Art. There is so many pretty things that can be done ;___; and there's Ctrl+Z
8.) What was your first favourite?

9.) What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
At first it was a lot of anime/manga/video game stuff, now it's been fashion or abstract/surreal tendencies? ish? I don't know. I usually am drawn more to the macabre
10.) Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
nebezial and his other alias Stjepan-Sejic are my top but there are so many other ones too
11.) If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
nebezial or NanoMortis (such awesome work!)
12.) How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Well, there are a few, but they are also my friends in real life so I'm not sure if that counts >__>; I am not really that active on here so I haven't really made too many connections with other deviants I don't know irl....I'm a shut in online as I am in real life T_T
13.) What are your preferred tools to create art?
ALL THE TOOOOOLLLLSSSS. Seriously, though. Rulers, pattern paper, pencil, Sewing Bible 1 (aka "Patternmaking for Fashion Design"), Sewing Bible 2 ("The Art of Draping"), Sewing Machine....needle...thread...fabric >__>; the list goes on
14.) What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Uh. Dining room? Hopefully it will become the sewing room that we will get together by the end of the month....
15.) What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Probably any time someone favorites a work of mine, whether it was a photograph of a 3-D piece, or one of my traditional art pieces. I don't get them often, so it's a nice little pick-me-up <3

At last....premium!

As some of you have noticed, there are some changes going on with my dA.
Loooooonnnng time ago, I used to brand everything with "SeikoMiwarui" because that was my alternative persona, but, as I move forward with my life, it is time to change. Rather than give up my tenure to start a new account (idk why...I'm strange like that), I just decided to buck up and get a premium account. I really wanted "AlizarinCrimson" but someone had it...sooo....CrimsonStarEmporium it is!
Eventually I want to learn how to make a template for a journal for myself but...that will have to wait >>; One thing at a time.

Since it has been quite some time, I shall also let you guys know what's been up.
1.) I'm officially graduated from Mount Mary University.
2.) I also have a certificate in Entrepreneurship from NWTC
3.) I'll be vending at KitsuneKon in March (hoping for NoBrandCon as well, but waiting to hear back sometime next month)
4.) I received a button maker for Christmas so look for buttons coming to my shop soon
5.) I'm sure there's more, but I'm honestly all over the place today and I can't stay coherent on one thing XD
I hope to get out some drawings and fun things again soon (but working 2 jobs, trying to do school full time - although that's finish - doesn't help. I worked like 58 hours last week and this week x___x)

Hey everyone! As you'll notice, I've been updating again with things from over the summer, and what have you. Most of it is jewelry, but, I may upload some drawings (graphic, or traditional....) maybe haha. Eventually I should get back in to actual drawing before I lose it D:
Either way. In May, our school held the fashion show at the Harley Davidson Museum in downtown Milwaukee and it was AWESOME. Pictures can be seen here, taken by my brother: jasonengebos.zenfolio.com/p974…

I could have done so much stuff different, but that's for other pieces, another time.
Also, I got the opportunity to study abroad in Florence for basically the month of June. It was a wonderful experience! I'll hopefully upload some of those pictures here soon as well. I took a footwear design and construction course so....I'm kind of a cobbler now. Muwahahahahaha. Just hoping to be able to afford some lasts (shoe forms) and materials before I totally forget how to make stuff. We didn't get to make shoes that were my size :< We made European size 36s.
Pretty much all I want to touch on today. Not feeling much like writing, but at least wanted to let you guys know what's been up haha.
